Youth Empowerment Campaign Launched Nationwide
Under Khayre’s leadership, a bold new Youth Empowerment Campaign was launched across Somalia to tackle unemployment and civic disengagement among young people. The campaign included vocational training centers, small business grants, and youth councils designed to promote leadership and self-reliance.
Thousands of youth enrolled in the first phase, gaining access to skills in agriculture, digital technology, and public service. Khayre personally visited several training sites, reiterating that the future of Somalia depends on unlocking the potential of its youth.
